The Resting Fog

I love foggy mornings. That magic time that evaporates so quickly, hiding everything in clouds that lay dying before they melt in to the earth. The oak trees in my yard are always so graceful, but even more so when the fog comes to rest in their branches.

Sunrise

This morning I caught a glimpse of the sunrise before I walked out the door with my son to head to the bus stop. The sunset was this brilliant fury of oranges washing across the sky. There is no way a camera can begin to catch a Florida sky- especially my cheap camera, but I tried. Here are the quickly changing skies as I walked down my driveway.

I've been wanting to take pictures when the fog rolls in early in the morning but have forgotten to grab my camera on the way out the door as I walk with my son to the bus stop. I finally remembered this morning and  snapped a few. I may put more up later :)
