Ocean Rock Monster Coming Ashore
I tried to post "If I Had a Heart" by Fever Ray with this but couldn't seem to get the two together so I posted them separately. Once in a while a song matches a drawing or painting and I'll throw it up here.
All my monsters are for Joshua. He's about outgrown them now, but they will always be for him. This is a redone piece- reworked this morning.

The Little Tinkerbell Painting on a Paper Bag Scrap
Today was print day. And frame day. This one is one I had printed then framed at home then snapped in poor lighting. The obscene amount of money spent today on frames is giving me panic attacks.

Garden Party... Still in Progress... but mostly finished.
I'm done for today. I'll straighten out the edges and fuss with it tomorrow. I'm done with this thing.

Garden Party, New Project (Work in Progress)
I have a habit of starting one leaf or one flower petal on a large drawing paper and then leaving it.... for years ...untouched. I have good intentions to "do" something with it but get bored with all that white space and go on to another blank void of paper. I went back to the poor leaf just sitting there all that time and decided on a commitment. I've planned three projects around this but I'm sketchy on those three project commitments so I'm not going to say them. We'll see if they actually happen.

The Thistle Takes a Lover
I worked on this last night while I listened/watched Vikings on The History Channel. I concentrate better when I'm distracted enough to forget that I'm drawing and just let the drawing get on it's way. I keep looking at this and see them as a married couple in love but then they look like they are ready to kill each other.
