There is nothing quite like breaking in a brand new sketch book. I splurged and bought two today. Lately I've been favoring Strathmore's cream colored paper over stark white. I made a mistake and bought a pretty sketch book on sale at Barnes and Noble and gave it away. What a waste. I could not draw a thing on that paper. I don't think I considered how good some paper is as in it's drawability until I ran nearly out of paper and was drawing on everything from card stock to sticky notes. Whatever Strathmore is doing, it's well worth every penny. It's like magic drawing paper and the ink finds it's own path.
